“I Looked Great on Paper” (quote)

I looked great on paper. Little did they realize that looking good on paper was my best skill.

That’s from Scott Adams’s How to Fail at Almost Everything and Still Win Big. So far the book is wonderfully entertaining and meaningful. He’s not as funny as Jim Gaffigan and not as heartfelt as Donald Miller but he does a bit of both well – which is the key to his success. Adams admits that he’s not the funniest writer and he’s not the best drawer, but he might be the best at drawing and writing funny things about work. More quotes about this book to come.
